The Lodges

The Lodges, whose dramatic vista of Seeley Lake's opposite shore commands a spectacular view of the Swan Mountain range, is one of Montana's most distinctive vacation sites. With a history that includes such romantic figures as Charles Lindbergh, a friend of its original owner, it has hosted almost a century of very contented visitors. Claiming that its breathtaking views were unparalleled in the Rockies, Lindbergh himself was one of its earliest admirers. Today a popular resort with a host of satisfied clients, the Lodges is able to offer you a variety of leisure experiences -- intimate family getaways, relaxing idylls with friends, romantic moments for weddings, a magnet for corporate retreats.

Fifteen of our overnight units are housed in picturesque cabins, with an additional four located on the second floor of the Main Lodge. All have modern kitchens, baths, fireplaces, Wi-Fi and televisions. With a sleeping capacity that ranges from couples to large families, they offer you the comforts of home. (We regret that we don't allow pets.) In addition to our indoor amenities are those of our lakeside beaches, whose boats, canoes and kayaks and bicycles we make available daily during the warmer months.

THE SEASONS OF THE LODGES

An Autumn Afternoon

Seeley Lake and the surrounding area is the natural habitat of many wild creatures.  We pride ourselves in sharing these habitats with our wild friends.  Our on-site wetland habitat is home to many birds, bats, ducks, otters and beavers and so many more wonderful animals.  It is our hope that you have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of these friends while respecting them and their home.

While visiting The Lodges on Seeley Lake, please remember that many species of wildlife call this special place home, you may encounter creatures that you don’t see when at home.  Many are very curious so it is our recommendation that you keep all doors closed and do not open windows that do not have screens.  Keeping your cabin free of unwelcome visitors is your responsibility, take care to keep our wild things wild.
