All lodging must be reserved for three nights. There are 19 units accommodating up to 68 guests. The total cost of lodging is $13,533 (7% tax included). If you need more sleeping arrangements we also have room for up to 14 more at Eagle Port.

EXCLUSIVITY FEE A fee of $4,000.00 allows for exclusive use of the grounds & lodge for you and your guests for three days. This use begins at 2pm on the day of check-in and ends at 11am on the final day of your event.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENT SCHEDULE Lodging and Venue Deposit - 50% or $8,766 is due upon booking. The deposit amount is 50% the total lodging and the venue fee and will be applied to the master account. The balance is due upon departure.  The balance will include all unpaid lodging. If your guests are paying for their own lodging any excess balance lodging deposit after guests have paid can be applied to your food and beverage account.

Catering Deposit - 50% is due 30 days prior to your event and will be applied to the master account. This deposit amount is based on your guaranteed guest count. The balance is due upon departure. The final balance is based on the guaranteed guest count or the actual number served, whichever is greater, and the  bar bill plus gratuities. There are no taxes applied to catering charges.

Rental Charges (if incurred) – 50% is due 30 days prior to event, this event is based on your estimated guest count and event needs. The balance is due upon departure. Plus 10% service fee.

If cancellation becomes necessary 90 days or more prior to your visit, we will refund one-half of your deposit.  If cancellation becomes necessary within 90 days of your arrival, you will forfeit your full deposit.

THE PROCESS Once you have decided to have your wedding at The Lodges on Seeley Lake, you will receive a contract.  When a signed contract and your deposit have been received, together, we will begin planning your perfect celebration. We will assist you with menu selections, venue layout, lodging assignments and an event timeline. We will be with you every step of the way and available to answer questions.

Thirty days prior to your wedding date, catering and rental contracts outlining the specifics of your event/events will be provided and signed by all parties.

Two weeks prior to your event, The Lodges will be provided a guaranteed guest counts for all catered events.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)


Do we have to to take the entire resort for three nights? Yes, in order to provide you with the privacy needed for a Wedding Celebration we do require that the entire resort is booked only to your friends and families. This does not mean that the Host/Hostess is paying for the all of the lodging. Often the hosts only pay for the what they are personally using and the guests then pay for themselves. We look forward to showing you around the resort so that we can reserve the cabins that you want to personally assign to family and wedding party. Then we will release the remaining units for your guests to reserve. We like to speak to each guest when booking to be certain that the cabin they have booked is suitable to their needs. You may also choose to cover the costs for all guests, this is entirely up to you.


Can bring our own food? No, that is not possible at the main lodge. The Lodge has a full bar and state of the art kitchen. We look forward to planning all meals, and creative guest gathering options with you. From a welcoming hors d’ oeuvre and cocktail hour to a farewell brunch, we will help guide you every step of the way. Our goal is with you create menus that reflect who you are, the flavor or Montana and the season that the event is held. Our staff is passionate about food and its presentation. We pride ourselves in customizing menus to fit your group and your budget. It is best to first decide how many guests you will be serving and then discuss menu options. All meals & alcohol served in the Lodge or if desired, under a lakeside canopy and will be catered by the Lodges on Seeley Lake. Your final bill for all meals will be based on your guaranteed guest count or the actual number served, whichever is greater. Your guaranteed guest count must be provided two weeks prior to your event date.


Can we brign our own alcohol? No, any alcohol consumed at The Lodge or when applicable under the canopy, must be purchased through The Lodges on Seeley Lake. Special order wines and spirits that are not consumed will be the purchased by the hosts upon departure. All guests consuming alcohol must be 21 years or older. The Montana State Liquor Commission regulates the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. As a licensee The Lodges on Seeley Lake is responsible for the administration of these regulations. It is therefore a policy that liquor, wine or beer served to a group cannot come from an outside source. The Lodges on Seeley Lake practices responsible hospitality, and anyone who appears under the age of 35 may be asked to provide identification, and anyone appearing intoxicated will not be served. The bar will close at Midnight.


We have more than 85 on our guests list, can we have the party outdoors? If your guest list exceeds 85, our staff will assist you securing tents, tables, chairs and other items needed to accommodate your guests. We will assist you with all communications with the rental company, such as the ordering, set up, inventory, tear down and return of all rental items. Rental charges if incurred – 50% is due 30 days prior to event, this cost is based on your estimated guest count and event needs. Balance is due upon departure. Plus 10% service fee. Also, the Eagle Port Lodge and Hangar is a great location for a wedding reception and is large enough for up to 150 guests.


Can our pets join us? We do not allow pets at the resort.

Weekend Itinerary


At The Lodges we pride ourselves on creating the most personal celebration. Below you will find a
sample of what your catering your wedding weekend might look like from breakfasts to late night
snacks we will keep you and your guests sustained and satisfied with fresh healthy foods throughout
your stay.

Day One


Afternoon Check In:

Throughout the afternoon your guests will be arriving at the Resort and getting settled in and familiar with their surroundings. Our staff will greet them at the Lodge and show them to their cabins while answering questions they may have.


We recommend performing your rehearsal as close to the time of the actual ceremony as
possible so the angle of the sun and shadows are most accurate. You may consider letting us prepare light snacks and beverages for the wedding party during this time.


There may be a private rehearsal dinner or a meal that includes all of the guests at the resort or we can prepare a private meal for the family and wedding party or a casual BBQ for everyone, or both!


The summer months offer many hours of daylight. Enjoying the lake in the evening or visiting on the beach is wonderful way to relax before bed. In the cooler months this is a nice time for a walk or a ski. Anytime of the year The Lodge will always be available to your guests to visit by the fire or enjoy a cocktail.

Day Two


Rise and Shine:

You may choose to host a light breakfast at The Lodge before your guests start the day.

Play Time:

Summer days are long so your guests may want some time to play on the lake or enjoy a local hike before the festivities. Cooler months lend themselves to brisk walks or a cross country ski or visiting by the fire.

Lunch time:

Offerings either 'to-go" or at The Lodge may be something to consider.  We can talk about this during our planning.

Time to Tie the Knot:

There are several locations at The Resort that lend themselves to lovely locations for your ceremony. Either outside or in The Lodge your photos will be stunning!


While the families and wedding party are having photos taken your guests will be enjoying cocktails and hors d oeuvres.


Please Visit Sample Menus for your reception, both plated and buffet style. Bear in mind that our catering menus are extensive and we will work with you to create exactly what you want.

After Dinner Fun:

Dancing, Cocktails, Fireside Visits and Cake, More Dancing and Sobriety Snacks!

Depending on your wedding day itinerary and your guest list it is often nice to provide some late night foods. This can be anything from special port and lovely cheeses by the fire in the lodge to nachos, sandwiches or light snacks by the campfire on the beach. We can discuss this option further if you would like to offer this.

Day Three


A Day to Rest or to Discover and Play

A lazy morning may be in store for you and your guests with delicious coffee, bloody Marys and mimosas available at The Lodge. You might want to offer a brunch buffet or light breakfast and picnic lunches for those on the go. This might be the day that folks discover the Blackfoot River to float or fish or explore the cross country ski trails or enjoy one of the fantastic day hikes or simply lie on the beach and splash in the lake.

After a Day of Play….Return to The Resort

We would be happy to prepare an evening meal for any group of 20 or more guests who want to arrange something with us at the lodge. This can be a formal affair or something more casual. If this is something that you or your family and friends would like we can discuss menus and plan a final evening of fun!
The Lodge and Resort remains exclusively yours for another night to sip cocktails, watch the sun set and savor the love and support of your friends and families.

Day Four



It is time to pack up and say your good byes. At The Lodge we can provide a light continental breakfast with our house made granola, great coffee, fresh fruit, house baked muffins and bagels and cream cheese. This is the perfect way to say good bye and thank you as your guests depart.
